Southern Pacific Resource Corp. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the thermal production of heavy oil in Senlac, Saskatchewan on a property known as STP-Senlac, and thermal production of bitumen on a property located in the Athabasca region of Alberta known as STP-McKay, as well as exploration for and development of in-situ oil sands in the Athabasca region of Alberta. Its STP-McKay property consists of oil sands leases totaling approximately 37,760 acres. The Company’s operations also include Anzac, Hangingstone and Ells. The Company’s STP-McKay property is located approximately 45 kilometers northwest Ft. McMurray. The Anzac project covers approximately 117 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic. The Company owns 80% interest in Hangingstone project. The Ells project covers approximately 164 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic.

Nike.....finding a strategic partner to buy a working interest in STP McKay would be by far and away the best outcome for the stock. Eye described 3 possible ways of re-capitalizing STP for future growth. A combination of increased debt (but Im worried how expensive that could be) and a sale of a 20-30% working interest in McKay would be the best. Eye will run y'all thru the numbers in another post maybe. There is nothing we could do to keep shat's clothes on if that happened ................................................................................................................................................................BUT the other alternatives on this board also work....That would be the best combo, but not that easy to execute .................................................................................................................................................................... AND Nike, a penny and a half move in a stock is NOT "missing the boat". Think big picture honey. Are you enjoying your debs yet?
