RE:IR Latest

RE:IR LatestI have an e-mail from IR last year that says "things are progessing well".

Here is an excerpt from the response from January 2013:

Simba is planning on drilling its first well in Kenya, later in 2013.  There are a few factors that will have to be taken care of prior to drilling (the farm out, additional 2D/3D seismic) but if all goes according to plan Simba could spud late in the 3rd quarter or early in the 4th quarter of 2013.  There are no current plans to finance by way of a private placement and the company’s current cash position is approximately $3.5 Million CAD.  Additionally there are about $8 Million in warrants sitting on the sidelines right now that if exercised will top up the company’s treasury which should ease any capital requirements.

With respect to Liberia, Simba received notification from the Liberians in December that once their petroleum policies have been revamped and finalized they are eager to get back to the negotiating table and continue finalizing Simba’s PSC application for an on-shore block.  I am hopeful that we will have some clarification on this by March or April.

Simba will begin work in Guinea and hope to start initial surveying and work in Chad as well.  There should be a corporate update in the coming weeks that may elaborate on operations and give you a little more detail about plans for the coming year!

I could make another inquiry but I already know the cut and paste response that I will get.
