The thing is that it has significant acreage in 4 different regions. So it can make JV and/or drill the oil-weighted properties first.
For instance, QXP has a lot of land (~60,000 net acres) in Southeastern Saskatchewan in the oily Williston Basin, targeting Bakken and Shaunavon. With so many players there, QXP can easily find a JV partner there.
Additionally, QXP has a lot of land in East Central Alberta.....more than 100,000 net acres.....cheap wells with low decline rates like Viking and Mannville.
