The System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI) is Canada's ... service for the filing and viewing of insider trading reports as required by various provincial securities rules and regulations.

Hence my statement that SEDI is *the* official source of insider trading in Canada. If someone can demonstrate that insiders also have an obligation to report to the Canadian Insider or anyone else, please provide.
P.S. - Even if SEDI is the only official source, that doesn't preclude other outfits like Canadian Insider or others from using the SEDI data base as a resource to repackage some of the data to provide value-added services to investors - and frankly I am glad that they do!
