RE:RE:RE:is trying to influence stock price down also illegal?Doo,
Good game!! I'll pass but nice try.

Why do I post here? Well, I am very interested in gold stocks but when the price of gold is trending downward, which it has been for what the last 2 years, there isn't any gold stock worth owning. Therefore, rather than looking at a lot of gold stocks that aren't going anywhere but down, I have decided to watch just BGM until such time as the gold bull resumes.

In January it was looking hopeful, but didn't come anywhere close to my previously stated threshold of breaking $1550 before seriously reexamining the gold bull hypothesis.

Sure you might have made some good money playing the swings in the short term but I'll bet most have since lost what they gained on the bounce and even more -- just take a look at how gold, gold equity etfs and gold equities have performed over the last few months. Your best return would have been in holding gold but that in fact would still be a loss. Not playing at all was the best option.

So, in a gold bear market, it is best to stay on the sidelines in cash. Watch and wait. When the gold bull returns there will be plenty of time to play.  The trend is your friend.

Good luck with your BGM position... And good news for you, I'll probably wait around for the Feb/15 financials so see just how BGM does -- too invested in the game now to leave even it the gold bull happened to resume an upward leg in 2014.
