Surge Energy Inc (Alberta) T.SGY

Alternate Symbol(s):  ZPTAF | T.SGY.DB.B

Surge Energy Inc. is a Canada-based oil focused exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. It holds focused and operated light and medium gravity crude oil properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, characterized by large oil in place crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors. It offers exposure to two of the five conventional oil growth plays in Canada: the Sparky and SE Saskatchewan. It holds a dominant land position and is drilling a mix of horizontal multi-frac and horizontal multi-lateral wells in the Sparky area. Sparky is a large, well established oil producing fairway in Western Canada. SE Saskatchewan is a focused operated asset base with light oil operating netbacks. SE Saskatchewan operates low-cost wells with short payouts and offers potential for continued area consolidation.

Of the 16 Canadian oil and gas................

Of the 16 Canadian oil and gas................companies I own or are on my watch list, 2 are down, SGY and LNV.  The same 3 as yesterday are killing this in a deliberate, orderly fashion.  Morgan Stanley is busy selling 100 shares to itself. Not multiple 100 share lots, I mean 100 each minute at 1 cent below the minute before.  Macquarie and in particular TD pile on.

Either investors don't like the upcoming deal or this stock and LNV are being held in place. Either way, there is a grave disservice being done to SGY shareholders.  We are missing the seasonal play and just look at today for example,  TSX up over 110 points, oil up another 57 cents and we are down with almost every other oil and gas stock up.

Great to be a retail investor in Canada.
