Would that be 12:01 a.m., April 1, 2014, or 11:59 p.m., April 1, 2014? Either one would spell overtime shifts for some members of the IR crew (Tim, Sean, Fraser, Andrew and Frank-who-ain't), as the office isn't normally open before 8;00 a.m. or after 4:00 p.m.
That could certainly cut into the April Fool's tomfoolery and festivities of Tim, Sean, Fraser, Andrew and Frank-who-ain't, and of course the company's printers would also have to be on stand-by, ready to run off new share certificates at a moment's notice.
YP...would YOU believe an April 1, 2014, release from a company announcing a 100-per-cent overallotment (to 40 million shares and $20 million), or would YOU think it merely an April Fool's joke from an overzealous IR crew?

I don't expect the 5 man IR crew are required for the weekend, except maybe to get coffee, dognuts, pizza, etc. Ok. sure bring the 5 man crew in for the weekend. Why not.
The key play will of course be FC. Isn't if FC who said it would be a sad day when he couldn't raise $5M with a phone call? I am pretty sure my memory is ok on this point.
So, if FC comes in on the weekend and starts calling the rolex, should be no problem, even it takes more than a few calls given that we are in the middle of an f*ing depression. The FC quote was probably from pre depression times, so I am allowing FC to make as many calls as necessary this weekend to raise the money. And that is why the 5 man IR crew should be coming in to step and fetch for FC and keep him sounding strong on the phone.
So, Halcro, if FC calls you this weekend (not saying he well but what it, eh)... well would you take a flyer on the opportunity? Now I am being very serious here. FC is a very persassive fellow... why he's raised well over 130M over the years to build up that accummulated deficit figure on the books today. Impressive work. I am betting that FC could make you think about...
Me, why I'd be safe. I'm not investing in a gold mining company of any ilck while POG is before 1550. Period.
Regarding April 1st, well, there is a new kind of ground hog day popping up here and there, where the entire year is made up April 1st. Now get you mind around that one...
