March on to AprilLets just hope that JS wasn't just blowing more hot air when he stated that they were very disappointed and strongly disagreed with the jury's verdict following their loss to Apple in the CDMA / HSPA infringement trial. The JMOL hearing on that case was scheduled in March so we can safely assume it has happened and I would think that the presiding Magistrate at the hearing will make a decision promptly while the case is still fresh in his/her mind. A favorable decision - though I don't know what that implies - not only would go a long way in restoring investor confidence in WiLan's litigation strategy and the strength of their core patents, but also compel Apple to sit down with WiLAN at the negotiating table and strike a multi-year, all-encompassing licensing deal. What a feather in WiLAN's cap that would be!
