Takeover Question

Takeover QuestionGreetings,

First things first,  I have been following FCU bullboard  for quite some time now, since early fall, just want to give thanks to everyone for their great input and at times, comical relief. … cough… you guys know who you are*. The best part of my morning consist of waking up right after my alarm goes off. I do a one eyed-peek on my email checking for NR. Most of the time, when I there is a NR, I either go back to sleep peacefully or I am wide awake. Who needs coffee these days when FCU NR is the stronger than the strongest espresso lol.

Anyways, I just have a question about the whole takeover situation. Why would big players like CCO, RIO, Chinese etc. want to takeout fission early? Wouldn’t they want to let FCU drill as much as possible? If we were to be taken out in early stages of drilling. Wouldn’t they lose out on the expertise of the FCU management team?  Or would the property stake of fission (aka areas that has not already been drilled yet) not be a part of the takeover agreement? I would assume giants would want FCU to prove up as much pounds as possible before an offer is put on the table.

This is my first post and hopefully many to time, thanks for everyones input.  Stay long and prosper.
