Sucker's Rally

Sucker's RallyThe recent rally in the shares of FTP were unjustified by the fundamentals. A classic pump and dump were a positive research report from some unknown author and all the yahoos on this board became giddy with excitement. The reality was that while the common shares were rallying the convertible debs did nothing and still trade at yields north of 20%. We've seen strong rallies in the past in this stock only for the shares to keep trending towards new lows. Mr1derful even made a bullish short term call on the shares back on Dec 31, 2012. The shares rallied 50% in a month. Then the shares rallied over 15% back in Feb 2013 with the announcement that Yvon had joined the Fortress team. Despite these huge rallies the shares are at $3.73 and trending lower. This company will continue to burn cash and don't see things in the dp turning around any time soon.
