Perhaps you don't rely on dividends for income.  I am recently retired and collecting a very small company pension along with a reduced C.P.P.  The sum of which is insufficient to provide me with a decent lifestyle....thank heavens I am also an investor as well.

Appreciate your comments on Quebec and the provincial election tomorrow.  I do believe there are a sufficient number of eligible voters in Quebec that have it all figured out by now.  I think you are correct, separation in not in the cards anymore.  Just look what is has cost that province, not to mention the rest of Canada.
