OPINION • Fairly soon potentially the GoM will be authorized to propose its solution regarding two potential major events – Stage 2 OT financing and reviving minerals exploration, besides addressing third one – amending Long Name Law • The draft resolution itself does not contain specific measure related to OT but we view it is significant that OT issues are back to Parliament substantively since last time Parliament spoke on OT before OT IA through controversial 57th resolution • We reiterate this is very beginning of uncertain process however it is No.4 item of business in the spring session and we expect things will progress quickly • Still, it appears process has started that potentially could bring to conclusion to Rio Tinto’s discussions with Government of Mongolia that Mr. Sam Walsh referred to.
