RE:A few questions....
No problem answer to question #1 . I in southern Ontario in a busy city am a manager - I have had 2 other payday lender companies send 2 managers into my store and blatantly ask my staff if they wanted to earn $50 per customer that we refer to them and also offered them a job with their companies. They also stood outside my storefront with pamphlets to give to my customers that were coming in to pay etc. so yes, this type of business is a dog eat dog world and they will kick you when you are down. 2. Ontario cash money and money mart charges the same as we do at cash store/instaloans (it is on their website as it depends on what province you are in.) they also do not give the money instantly like the payday lender licence states they are supposed to do. Money mart has a pepaid CC as well, so no difference there in my opinion. 3. If CFS does not get this rectified soon and I mean real soon, I cannot see them justifying keeping the branches open with all the costs involved etc. 4. YES, MB had changed (not sure of others) but still offer Lines of Credit - I am sure this province will follow suit soon unfortunately and to people who do not support CSF - what is the difference in what we charge compared to what credit cards charge?? I get charged 29.99% for my CC etc. difference is, the gov't gets something out of it I am sure.!
