Zenith Minerals Limited (“Zenith”) is pleased to announce that it has now completed detailed interpretation of data acquired in recent geophysical surveys trials, conducted to assess the bedrock character beneath soil and surface rock samples containing high-grade gold at the Kavaklitepe JV project in Turkey. The Company deems the trial surveys to have been a great success having detected strong chargeable rock beneath the high-grade surface geochemical gold anomalies. The next step in evaluating the prospects will include trenching to expose the rock beneath the surface soil cover, followed by drilling. Once the trenching and initial drilling has been completed the company will assess if further geophysical surveying is necessary to assist in tracking mineralized gold zones. The surveys were carried out by Enerson Geophysical Explorations Company a well-credentialed Turkish group involved in many international exploration projects. Two trial surveys were completed using the gradient array method and cross checked by a second method using a pole-dipole configuration. We look forward to testing these targets with trenching and drilling as soon as possible.”
