RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:OPERATIONAL UPDATE AND $141 MILLION ASSET DISPOSITION
If there has been the 40% increase in executive compensation an earlier poster claimed, it would seem to me that shareholders should prepare some very pointed questions on executive compensation relative to performance.  They claim that compensation is not necessarily dependent on share price and we all know that.  But it ought not to be inversely related as it apparently is.  THe long term value metrics are rather obvious - production, addition to reserves, reduction of costs, increasing of efficiencies.  There are general metrics for all of those that can be roughly determined from the public financial records.  It would be very nice if a Calgary group of shareholders could assemble that information in hand out form and take it to the AGM and during question and answer, review the metrics and performance and require of the BOD an appropriate accounting from the BOD and Executive as to how they justify increases when they have brought nothing but financial decrease.  If that is well prepared and well delivered one would hope they moderate their packages if only out of shame.
