agreed. however even though it maybe annoying, i believe this is how many institutions, specifically US institutions, now prefer to have their orders executed. it essentially averages their cost over whatever period they specify or until the order is filled. I wasn't watching the trading but I suspect the sell side board lots were just being picked off the offer while the bot was running.

silver lining? actual interest from institutions?
