RE:MCR and LNG

RE:MCR and LNG
As important as gettting the BC tax structure competitive for the LNG project to take-off, isn't the more pressing issue is on the demand side? China is doing a lot fracking at home, albeit still small to make a meaningful impact. Japan will eventually start back up their nukes once the public turns their attention to something else.

I think a lot of how this LNG play is going to play out is out of Canada's hand at this point. Austrilla has few years on us and they are making huge strides in locking in customers' orders. U.S. can easily convert their existing infrasturucture to export.

The fact British Columbia had to speed up the fiscal regiem for LNG from Fall of 2014 to early Summer speaks a lot on how quickly things have developed over the last year. High power negotation is in play behind the scene no doubt. But there are a lot of moving parts that is outside of provincial and federal government's control. I'm not sure all the companies hoping to reap big profits in this Canadian LNG boom will have their dream realized.
