RE:RE:RE:Irony of the can kicking decision process- straw to goldPipeline contracts are 20 years long and you have to make a commitments for a certain average daily volume.  Shipping SCO by pipeline by COS is not a problem since they have a number of contracts, have been doing it since 1996 and upped their contracts in 2006 after Coker 8-3 started. 

Interestingly, I have read that none of the Bakken producers signed contracts for pipeline line space on XL becasue non of them thought that the Bakken would produce enough oil after XL comes on line sometime maybe in 2019.
