Southern Pacific Resource Corp STPJF

Southern Pacific Resource Corp. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the thermal production of heavy oil in Senlac, Saskatchewan on a property known as STP-Senlac, and thermal production of bitumen on a property located in the Athabasca region of Alberta known as STP-McKay, as well as exploration for and development of in-situ oil sands in the Athabasca region of Alberta. Its STP-McKay property consists of oil sands leases totaling approximately 37,760 acres. The Company’s operations also include Anzac, Hangingstone and Ells. The Company’s STP-McKay property is located approximately 45 kilometers northwest Ft. McMurray. The Anzac project covers approximately 117 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic. The Company owns 80% interest in Hangingstone project. The Ells project covers approximately 164 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic.

If your threshold has been reached, you should sell.

In MY opinion, the SP is being driven down because we are seeing a generational buying opportunity. And savvy fund managers realize this. Trading algorithms are going to make these guys, as well as savvy retail investors, a lot of money.

MY opinion ONLY.

Like I said, if it's too hot for you in the kitchen and you are breaking your own trading rules by holding on, you should sell. However, come to your own conclusions as to why there is share price depreciation on such small volume.

Also, ask yourself this:
Why has the banter concerning production levels on this board come to a complete stop? Aside from my blatherings of course. In MY opinion, it's because the savvy and those in the know realize that the May 7th news release will be transformational, and that pumping up STP would be BAD for them while accumulating cheap/free shares, much to the future chagrin of the retail market.
