Prior to the halt there was a rise in share price which would have signalled something positive was happening. However, was this manipulation to drive the price up and discourage investors from selling their shares given the fact of what was soon coming?
What eventually did come was a trading halt. There was no positive news and we now have a situation where Olian has frozen our assets  indefinitely while he does his thing.
If Olian is throwing the shareholders under the bus for his own benefit you would think that the Venture Exchange would have some safeguards against this practice.

"The Company is required to obtain the approval of the Exchange, which in turn may require the approval of the Company's shareholders, in order to complete the XORTX Transaction."

I thought the word was "shall" not "may".
