RE:Teck Resources Ltd to cut 600 jobs and defer Quintette coal Actually Coyote metallurgical coal, like the kind Teck and Walter have, will remain a very compelling and very profitable investment if one has the fortitude to buy now at the current share prices last seen a decade ago for Walter as an example.  These large companies will not go broke and will simply wait out the current malaise.
It is simply a matter when the worldwide metallurgical coal pricing will cycle back up, not a matter of if it will as there really aren't other options available to produce the steel we all need, including you Coyote.
Thermal coal of course is a different animal in that there are plenty of other options.

However, since you of course are not an investor, this post was actually intended for those who are.
