Pyrrhic Victory in Three More Years? If we have to litigate, we litigate. Negotiations leading to a global settlement are a better course of action. Since we lost the case, it is Teuton's obligation to reach out to AMK. If they are unwilling to talk, so be it. In the meantime, relitigating the issues in the lawsuit on this Bullboard are an exercise in futility, IMHO.
I am (now) a senior citizen who foolishly put way too many dollars into a Venture security; so I think I've earned the dubious distinction of being permitted to opine now and then.
Sure, we may have to go back to court, but let's not rattle sabres and wish for it because we are not Apple or IBM; neither is AMK. I have made this point enough times; I think everyone gets it except one person on our side of the fence who just can't stop himself from re-arguing the facts over and over and over again. And if both companies continue on for years, one of us might win a Pyrrhic Victory.
"A Pyrrhic victory is a victory with such a devastating cost that it is tantamount to defeat. Someone who wins a Pyrrhic victory has been victorious in some way; however, the heavy toll negates any sense of achievement or profit (another term for this would be "hollow victory").'
