Mr Shafran decided that he shouldn't take any personal financial responsibility for the corporate decisions he and the board made historically and bailed by exercising the majority of his options rather than taking his lumps with the rest who decided to stay with CHW. Again speaking to my previous point regarding 'morality and ethics' which seems to have no place in the 'new capitalism'.
