RE:RE:What if...
RE:RE:What if...jimbo29, I'm replying to your comment " Wonder if the Russians would be interested" I suggest it is most evident the Russians are indeed interested, supportive, and want the redevelopment venture between the Russian Research Institute of Chemical Technology ("VNHIIT") and Stan's Energy to work. This was further evident this past February 2014, when The Federal Service for Technical and Export Control of the Russian Federation ("FSTEC") granted a special export licence to Stan's Energy. This special export licence allows for the export and use of key cracking technology by Stan's Energy. This technology was developed by Stan's Energy's contractors - The Russian Research Institute of Chemical Technology ("VNIIHT") This cracking technology is vital to the production at Stan's Energy's Heavy Rare Earth Project Kutessay II. VNIIHT is an arm of the Russian Atomic Energy Ministry. A sound indication, that the Russian interest and support of the VNIIHT and Stan's Energy's Heavy Rare Earth Project Kutessay II exists at a high level within the Russian Government. Stans has made excellent technical progress with the mine, mill design and metallurgy even through to casting actual Heavy RE ingots at Stans' Kasha Rare Earth Processing Facility. Stan's acquired Kasha Rare Earth Processing Facility in 2011 and Stan's has made significant progress towards modernizing and recommissioning this facility. I suspect, that if Stan's were to lose the day to "official" Kyrgyz harmful efforts, then Russian REE interest would be harmed, as well .
