I don't know which of the 3 people on the thread you are referencing.. Executive compensation should be important to every stock investor .. we are talking HOWE STREET here ... The Lucara executive team has done a great job .. I am not suggesting that execs should not be paid what they are worth ..
I happen to own only about 5% of the shares that Mr Lamb owns .. I wasn't given "free shares" or options to buy at lower than market trading levels....yeah I bought them in the market... The proxy indicates they hired an "independent firm" to come up with executive compensation levels...The issue I have ( in my opinion) is that in general the executive compensation plans in for TSX listed (Howe street companies) is not in line with what the
executives in other exchanges/companies are being compensated for...so it is something that prudent investors
should always monitor .. .. OUZO 1-00 ..do you even own stocks in this company ???? I wasn't going to attend the AGM meeting ,, but guess what " sunshine" now maybe I will ... and yes I do happen to know a bit about the companies I invest in !
