Thanks for your insight gormless. Blackrock is acting on behalf of a third party IMO, who's intent is to buy WiLAN out, but wishes to remain anonymous.

For Blackrock / iShares to take such a major stake in a company just for going 'long' on it doesn't make any sense. There are other forces at work here..
