2014-05-06 07:31 ET - News Release

Mr. Brett Proud reports

GUESTLOGIX AND INFLIGHT SALES GROUP HONG KONG CONTINUE EXPANSION IN ASIA PACIFIC WITH NEW CUSTOMER WIN

Guestlogix Inc. has secured a three-year agreement to deploy its on-board retail platform and P.OS hand-held devices to accept credit cards for the purchase of duty-free goods on board an airline in Southeast Asia. This agreement was made in partnership with duty free concessionaire, Inflight Sales Group Hong Kong (ISG), and signifies Guestlogix' continued expansion into the Asia Pacific region as well as the partnership's second customer signing of the year.

"Further penetrating the Asia Pacific market is a major focus for Guestlogix in 2014, and with this signing, we demonstrate our commitment to executing this initiative," said Brett Proud, President & CEO, Guestlogix. "Once again, our partnership with Inflight Sales Group has proven to be invaluable and we're delighted to work with such a reputable concessionaire to aide our progression in the region. This collaboration enhances our ability to expand our Asia Pacific footprint, and we are pleased to welcome this Southeast Asian airline to our growing joint customer base."

Guestlogix' onboard retail platform and PCI-compliant P.OS hand-held devices will be deployed onboard the airline to enable the acceptance of credit cards for the sale of duty free goods. As a customer of Guestlogix, the carrier will also have the option to utilize Guestlogix' technology to sell additional items at various touchpoints such as food and beverage, seat upgrades and OnTouchAtrademark Destination Merchandising for transportation and attraction vouchers.

"Since partnering with Guestlogix a few years ago, we have successfully secured and renewed numerous airline customers, offering the best in duty free programs and retailing technology to the Asia Pacific market," said Tony Detter, Group Managing Director, ISG. "We have great confidence in Guestlogix' solutions and their ability to support our programs with the utmost security and innovation both onboard our customers' aircraft as well as off board at e-commerce touchpoints. Together, we will ensure our new customer is equipped to meet its ancillary revenue goals."

Guestlogix' portfolio of innovative solutions, including its Transaction Processing EngineAtrademark (TPEAtrademark) and Global Payment Gateway(TM), are backed by 82 payment and operational certifications, making it the most secure technology for ISG to leverage in support of its duty free programs. ISG and Guestlogix first partnered in 2010 and support joint airline customers in four countries across Asia Pacific. With this agreement, the partnership welcomes its seventh joint customer, further highlighting the importance of its strategic relationship.

"Upon implementation of our technology, this new airline customer will see immediate gains in terms of richness of functionality and the ability to efficiently serve its customers. With the introduction of PCI-compliant credit card acceptance onboard, the airline both protects its operations as well as enhances the inflight experience for its passengers," said Ilia Kostov, EVP Global Sales & Product Strategy, Guestlogix.

Guestlogix and ISG's new airline customer flies to more than 60 destinations worldwide and represents approximately 13.2 million passenger trips per annum.
