North Shore Uranium Ltd. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the exploration for uranium deposits at the eastern margin of Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. The Company conducts its exploration programs on its two properties, the Falcon Property and the West Bear Property. The Falcon Property is located approximately 35-kilometer (km) east of the former Key Lake Mine and the active Key Lake uranium mill which processes ore from the McCarthur River Mine. The West Bear property consists of five mineral claims totaling 4,511 hectares located at the eastern edge of the Athabasca Basin which hosts two producing uranium mines.

Class action settlement!

Class action settlement!On May 1, 2014, the defendants and the U.S. plaintiffs entered into a binding stipulation of settlement to resolve the U.S. Actions, and all U.S. plaintiffs and class members shall be deemed to have released all claims against the defendants. The settlement class consists of all persons who purchased Nevsun common stock on the New York Stock exchange during the period of March 28, 2011, through February 6, 2012. The settlement will be funded entirely by the Company’s directors’ and officers’ insurance carriers. The settlement is subject to court approval which the Company expects to occur by the fall of 2014.
