I would speculate that the management is running around trying to find a buyer without much luck.  Failing that they will take a course of action which stems the tide of losses, whatever that might be.  How many CEO's would survive years of driving the business into the ground and still maintain an increasing personal income level.  That is completely ridiculous and says everything you need to know about this company.
