Voya Asia Pacific High Dividend Equity Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is total return through a combination of current income, capital gains and capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in a portfolio of dividend yielding equity securities of Asia Pacific companies. The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its managed assets in dividend producing equity securities of, or derivatives having economic characteristics similar to the equity securities of Asia Pacific Companies that are listed and traded principally on Asia Pacific exchanges. The Fund will invest in equity securities and will select securities through a bottom-up process that is based upon quantitative analysis. Voya Investments, LLC is an investment adviser of the Fund.

I just sold my small position at 2.52.   made some good money on it previously but took a small loss this time. i was ready to start adding to my position but now i feel there is lots of time to buy back in, maybe cheaper. lots of energy companies on sale yesterday and for the near future that are currently adding lots of productiom now.

now you know why you never see management buying stock on the open market. it's always been one of the disconcerting things to me about iae.

also they made no mention of current production, which i suspect is at the lower end of projections if not below entirely. this could be another fugly revelation in the q1 results. i'll be watching from the sidelines for a while unless it gets close to 2 bucks
