Its International Farming segment owns and operates orchards from which all fruit produced is sold to its Marketing and Distribution segment. Its farming activities range from cultivating early-stage plantings to harvesting from mature trees. Its Blueberries segment is a farming operation that cultivates blueberry plants in Peru. It provides value-added services including ripening, bagging, custom packaging, logistical management, and quality assurance. The Company also provides its customers with merchandising and promotional support, insights on market trends and hands-on training.

unless it materially affects the ability of the company/BOD to carry on the business of the company (my words).

How does one person leaving out of a 500+ employee company materialy effect it's ability to carry on it's busines?

Have you read the news the past little while? Companies lay employees off all the time and many don't seem to be much worse for it. Even CEOs change and things continue to run smoothly.

This story is way overblown.
