Welcome back VanWilder. To say it another way, the "market" has given up hope for commercial oil south of the Walvis Ridge......at least it's not presently being priced into the companies with leases there. Maybe the lacustrine environment north of the Ridge which allowed adequate source rock did not exist south of it.....due to volcanoes, ocean currents, whatever. Those few test tubes of oil from the Wingat well gives hope to the contrary, now ignored by Mr. Market. But it must have had a major effect in the thinking at Tullow when they farmed into the PanContinental holding. Take your choice: Mr. Market or Tullow. I'm gambling with Tullow. But we just don't know. rl
