Southern Pacific Resource Corp. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the thermal production of heavy oil in Senlac, Saskatchewan on a property known as STP-Senlac, and thermal production of bitumen on a property located in the Athabasca region of Alberta known as STP-McKay, as well as exploration for and development of in-situ oil sands in the Athabasca region of Alberta. Its STP-McKay property consists of oil sands leases totaling approximately 37,760 acres. The Company’s operations also include Anzac, Hangingstone and Ells. The Company’s STP-McKay property is located approximately 45 kilometers northwest Ft. McMurray. The Anzac project covers approximately 117 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic. The Company owns 80% interest in Hangingstone project. The Ells project covers approximately 164 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic.

News SoonDeal or no deal STP has found the solution to ramp up production. It's been a valuable learning experience. If someone steps in and takes 49% of the good, bad & ugly elements then even at current production levels we break even or very close because of the reduced debt service costs. Worst case is that they go forward with the install of the ICD units and we  hit the low end call of 7000. STP starts making serious money. In the mean time the MMs have a great time with the stock until the next news release.One thing to keep in mind is the Russians will cut off energy supplies in about two weeks. Everyday going forward from here could be the day that the deal is finalized, the stock is halted, the shorts are traped, and someone gets their boat-I really hope so!!!! Please invite me to go out on the first trip!
