RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Million share wall

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Million share wallWeeble, This has been an odd debate over the Nic site. Normally, metering is only done on the net output of a power plant, at the "revenue meter". It really doesn't seem logical for a gross generation number to show up on a system grid like this. Why would it? The grid doesn't benefit from gross generation, only net. Gross generation is more important to the plant operator, so they can track parasitic load inside the facility. As to accuracy, the mw number displayed is as accurate as we shareholders need. Metering is traditionally done (and generation paid for) in kilowatt-hours, so there is rounding going on to get to the Nic display, but it is accurate for our purposes. In this rounding, 55.2 mw on the Nic site could actually be 55,245 kw for example. Close enough! OE
