RE:RE:Spring break up 2014A bought deal can really give you a good indication of what shareholders think about the valuation of a company and the management. If investors feel nervous aout either or (GULP), both, a share issuance on the scale LSI just did, craters the stock. What you have seen however, is that investors believe the deal to be good for the company which tells me - investors like the growth prospects for this company enough that they want management to have the extra $20 million in the bank to look for acquisitions, AND they appereciate the revenue potential this company has.
The ONLY reason I am not nervous is because of the way the stock has performed after this share offering was issued. The stock was priced aggressively and the new investors continued to pile in above that price.
Now, the summer is upon us and the real money can be made.
