RE:motley fool article re lre

RE:motley fool article re lreiterestng article, thanks for posting. I think the nat gas pipelines to the BC coast have  very high chance of being built as the chances of environmental disasters from marine or pipeline mishaps are infantesimal compared to bitumen. The natives want the money and jobs, the BC government wants the taxes and the jobs, the federal government wants new export markets and the oil companies want customers. When the LNG market is developed, prices for gas will go up as there will be an alternative to selling to the US.
As for the Northern Gateway or Kinder - Morgan lines, there is a lot of opposition to them but Stephen Harper is determined to get them built so we will see.
Keystone is going to cost so much and be delayed so long, there won't be any bitumen left to export.
I recently watched an interview with a top executive at Google who said Canada is falling behind in tech development of new renewable energy sources and solar are coming on so fast he thinks the oil sands will never be developed..  He obviously has never been in Canada during the winter when it is dark at 4;00 pm and doesn't get light until 8:00 am and the angle of the sun is so low in the horizon you need to shine a flashlight on the solar cell to get it to produce anything. No Mr Google, the northern hemisphere will never be the solar capital of the world - and by the way, it gets flippin' cold here too.
