AmHunter, Poise, thank you for your replies. What you describe sounds similar to the Cardium formation in Alberta. When Ratcliffe was drilled did they leave a large areal extent that was oil-charged but not porous enough to produce with the methods of the day? If so, it could be a poor second cousin of the Cardium - which would still be a good prize even for a company like CPG.
