Southern Pacific Resource Corp. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the thermal production of heavy oil in Senlac, Saskatchewan on a property known as STP-Senlac, and thermal production of bitumen on a property located in the Athabasca region of Alberta known as STP-McKay, as well as exploration for and development of in-situ oil sands in the Athabasca region of Alberta. Its STP-McKay property consists of oil sands leases totaling approximately 37,760 acres. The Company’s operations also include Anzac, Hangingstone and Ells. The Company’s STP-McKay property is located approximately 45 kilometers northwest Ft. McMurray. The Anzac project covers approximately 117 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic. The Company owns 80% interest in Hangingstone project. The Ells project covers approximately 164 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic.

I Second the Shat Nomination

I too stay quiet for the most part on here as I am a small player compared to some and very inexperienced. Bought my first STP shares in 2010 @ about $1.70. Expecting my investment to be long term and with lots of enthusiasm, I chased the dips in price to bring my average down as well as adding to what I believed was a homerun stock. Fast forward to May 29, 2014 and I hold 55000 shares at an average of .62 cents. I can hear the scoffs at my relatively small volume but rest assured I certainly look at my 60% loss with knots in my stomach.

I hope that the stock someday hits .62 cents. Reality is, should never use words like "hope" and "faith" when dealing in investments. Appreciate all of your posts. GLTA
