Sediment samples compared to PLS

Sediment samples compared to PLS
Why on earth would they compare the Carpenter Lk sediment samples to lake sediments proximal to "one of the largest high grade uranium boulder fields in the Athabasca Basin at Patterson Lake South (PLS)"? Why would lakes near the PLS boulder field have elevated Uranium concentrations? The boulders are widely spaced out, most of them were quite small so why would they necessarily affect the lake sediments near the boulder field? If a comparison to PLS is going to be made, how about they list the Uranium concentration of Patterson Lake sediments over the deposit. They are trying to find a uranium deposit right? Sediments on PLS and sediments on lakes near the boulder field are apples and oranges.
