RE:QueryI would be very unhappy if PPY were to issue equity. I truly hope not, unless it were to make a very strategic acquisition of land adjacent to their position. Even then, I would still be quite unhappy.
I would say it is almost a cardinal sin for any public firms (regardless of their industry) to issue equity for general purposes (as did BXE). Markets punish those firms quite a bit. The inference is that they issue more of something that management views as overpriced equity. I expect BXE will underperform relative to its peers in the coming months.
I bought more PPY yesterday. I am convinced this one will either be taken out by one of the big boys or will explode its production in the coming three years. Either way, stock price will be above current prices, well above IMHO.
