curve - I see what you are saying about the property being valuable to the companies nearby that already have a mill. Since you mention three companies, it seems like a call for consolidation there. I can see where Alamos might want to take a chance here with the stock price so low. The market cap is only $15.5 million and the company is in Ontario Canada, not Turkey. They need to take advantage of the summer doldrums and put the $400+ million in cash to work. This seems like a small risk to them. One more good hole in the volcanics will really bring some attention. Drilling below 300m in the Zone 55 pit would also bring lots of attention. There is plenty of risk here but also leverage if the drilling proves up.
