RE:PRESENT TECHNOLOGY VURSUS GMA
General, the information you posted may be difficult for some to understand unless you are familiar geology and how to interpret orebodies when it comes to mining and exploration. What you have posted is correct and does explain how different types of impurities affect the methods of ore extraction.
Based on the type of impurities to be removed a different process may be required to remove the product. An example is extracting gold. Depending on the type of impurities it may require chemical methods such as cyanide leaching, frothing or mercury.
When it comes to GMA's property we already know that the major impurity contained in the ore is carbon. Carbon is one of the easiest elements to remove therefore processing the REE's should prove to be economical. The separation process to this point has proven to be successfull. What will take time from this point foreward is to test the separation process on the actual orebody as well as test the process with orebodies with more complex impurities. Personally I don't see this as being a problem.
As you state General, the GMA separation process involves no chemicals like the gold processing I mentioned above. Because the process is environmentally friendly, GMA has a process, if and when proven to be effective in treating all types of orebodies, shall revolutionize the way REE's are extrated.
I don't like seeing the stock price go down but this is the period where historically this happens. I am not impressed with the lack of news. It's not fair treatment of the shareholders who have invested their money to make GMA the mining venture it is today. We can't lose sight of the fact that this venture will take a few years to play out before we see a decent return on our investment or take a loss on a venture gone sour.
GLTA!
