Maybe it's the weather

Maybe it's the weatherMaybe it's the perfect weather forecast for here in Toronto this weekend but I feel compelled to help end the rainy weather here on the board.  A few things. 1) when banks do loans they "syndicate" it out to institutional investors. They don't hold them.  Not to say the investors are uninformed just pointing out.  Banks take their fees and sell the risk.  2). Companies with bonds in the 20-40s don typically get sold through the equity.  On the positive side the bonds are all below 100% so the company hasn't talked to any specific lender group. Everyone is in the dark.  3) if the company said the strategic review would end and it hasn't then there is a reason.  Better than continuing doing what stp has been given the chance to do?   4) my Toronto buddies in the business say nobody can get loans because of this situation.  I would think what stp has learned has value. I also think there could be an incentive to help them out. JV is a win win.  5). Lutes be patient talk is no longer an option. Maybe JV partner has a better plan.  6) maybe after reading my post the forecast is partly cloudy with a chance of rain. One thing I do know is when the 10 day is updated it will either be clearer skies or a total s--t storm.  You don't take out an expensive loan and just sit on it.    I forget the name of that fancy restaurant up on the hill looking over the bay in Vancouver.  Anybody have a clue?  Would like to take the wife and kids there
