Ramblin' on

Ramblin' onFirst of all you need to know that level 2 means absolutely nothing any more, the “venture” and other exchanges are polluted with hidden icebergs and deadly unseens for us average investing folk!.

Some free advice…when you read garbage posts from Jekyll about what house “is or isn’t” buying  eg: # 76…he really has no idea about the markets and is talking out of his a$$. You can say this house is accumulating this and this house is accumulating that…who knows? Usually if there's accumulation going on, it's between houses and that darned anonymous! But I'll say this for Jekyll, he know BTI and knows the science! There...I put a plug in there for you "Mr. Wonderful"!

Maybe next time I’ll put my anonymous cloak on! That way nobody will know I’m house # 2. This morning I was interested in one lot of BTI with 16,700 shares on offer by house # 7. A lot of times when the stock price climbs suddenly out of normal trading range; a trick I use is that I’ll put in a “market” order (but not execute) that exceeds the particular lot offering by lets say 10,000 shares; just to see if there is a hidden “berg” offering behind it at the same “sell” price…so in this case I initiated a buy order at market for 26,700 total, submitted it to see if it would fill @ $1.08 per. In this case, there wasn’t a hidden offering; by the time I did this, the 16,700 lot was sold for a $1.08 and I wasn’t fast enough ($hit). But I bought the next offering of 10,000 shares at $1.09 Other cases it will fill for the “bid” price!
What pisses me off at times is that exchanges deliver info faster to those who pay for the right and it also gives them the ability via order types where the faster traders are guaranteed the right to jump in front of all those including “me” who are slower. LOL I’ve tried getting office space in New York close to the exchange; just imagine, I could save milliseconds by being closer to the server! It’s called “Latency Arbitrage” and with the “Pason” satellite internet that I have and where I’m at; where the hell am I, oh yeah, Fox Creek…well, it ain’t happening for me anyways! J Google LA…it’s quite interesting!
With these exchanges, it’s the fastest horse that makes the most money; not saying it’s typical of the “venture”, but with high volume days like ICO has just had…it makes me wonder about anonymous using HFT's? LOL.
Anonymous means nothing; but I would like to punch him though if I ever did meet him!
Just ramblin’ with some free time!
Cheers
