RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:$5 ? Here is another excerpt from the Scotia report. Note they say "conservatively" with a short term price of $3.04 and they are talking Q2 here.
We may have already achieved more than this....
We conservatively assume a total of 6,425 carats
have been recovered in special diamonds quarterto-
date and then assume 3.6% of carats recovered
(consistent with the mine plan) in the latter part of
the quarter are specials. As such, we estimate a total
of 8,133 carats have been recovered within special
diamonds in Q2/14. Based on our Q2/14 diamond
production estimate of 105,410 carats, our specials
estimate would represent 7.7% of production. Exhibit
24 illustrates the effect on diamond prices if specials
accounted for 7.7% of production in the Centre Lobe
and South Lobe, assuming $7,630/ct for special
diamonds. This would increase estimated prices by
75% and 56% for the Centre Lobe and South Lobe,
respectively, over the prices we apply in Exhibit 21.
This would increase our NAV by 83% to C$3.04
per share
