Most likely anyones guess is right - as usual. If the price of gold goes up, this will really fly. 
My own opinion is that the hedge funds are moving in as they are sensing that there is not much else out there that has more upside. Gold and gold stocks have been beaten up and are dirt cheap. All it will take is for 'something' to drive the gold price to $1500 and then some of the big investment houses will begin moving into gold. At that point, the stocks really move and then the retail comes in late and really drives it up. Happens all the time.
Hang on - could be fun. DGC is a an attractive company has they have removed the risks and are producing and will be producing. 
Good target.
