Assays DudsI find it interesting that what we consider dud holes from PLS assays are well above most assays for mines elsewhere in the world. These mines average about .03% U308 or less than 1 pound of U308 per ton. So they don't look so bad, they are usually reported in PPM rather than %.
The assay reported for hole 166 in the last report, has 88m of about .10 %.
Most of us discount it as a dud but it has 2.2 lbs of U308 per ton which would make a miner very happy in many assays other than the Athabaska basin. No doubt the ore from this hole will be processed when mined and add lots of pounds to the overall deposit.
