Re Why?They could bring PLS into production at a faction of the cost of Wheeler River, because PLS will be an open pit operation. Also more than likely the PLS deposit will end up much larger.
However due to Dension financial situation they are in no postion to buy anything, They need to sell some assets to get rid of debt ,and consolidate shares to reduce dilution if they need cash for any purchases
They have been buying assets with shares, while they are losing money every year. Look at their share price over the past several years. It will take sharreholders some time to get over the pain. I am certianly not in favour of selling PLS to them unless it is a cash purchase.
