Then analysts see that the stock has blown through their TP with operational excellence and they end up upping them afterwards. So in theory, your right. Target prices are fictional. In this case, that's a good thing because this stock won't stop at 5 bucks or 5.50 like analysts are suggesting. That stock has hit analyst target prices year over year and analysts have had to continue to move the target price higher as the company keeps shattering their estimates.
