Yes this recent trading makes it extremely likely that someone was trading on the knowledge that a very positive announcement was coming soon. It may not be, strictly speaking, Insider Trading in the sense of insiders making the trades. But info leaked out from some source, which could be anyone who works for the company, the testing lab, or the bartender at a party!. But with all the volume, it wasn't just someone tipping off their parents and close friends. Some funds or other big players got involved.
The fact that we have no volume and no change after the news suggests that the big dealers already made their move!
Unfortunately, in my experience, this pattern of pre-press leaks seems to be common among junior miners. Too bad.
On the good news side, as Stateside wrote, this helps confirm that the payload is spread over a large area -- and growing. This is just what was expected, but it is comforting to have a little more confirmation.
